Solutions Design Sales Rep
Location: Richmond, VA
Overview
The Solutions Design team at OTAir works diligently and expeditiously to generate new business and design creative, market-leading, innovative mobile solutions, while providing excellent customer service to our existing customers. We have high expectations for team selling on a daily basis in pursuit of aggressive weekly and monthly goals in lead generation, opportunity assessment, proposal construction, sales closure and exceptional service. We are obsessively passionate about playing with mobile technologies, designing creative mobile services, and witnessing fantastic marketing ROI for our clients and partners.
We are in need of multiple Solutions Design Sales Reps with proven sales skills related to technology, marketing, advertising, media and/or software. Documented or demonstrated expertise in certain target verticals, such as retail, dining, entertainment, sporting, travel and print or broadcast media is a significant plus. Overall responsibilities include prospecting, presenting the OTAir story, working with the rest of the team to generate and present creative solutions, bringing the customer to commitment and assuring an outcome that exceeds their expectations.

Detailed Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets, with weekly strategy evaluations.
- Identify, contact and build relationships with sales and/or marketing leadership and decision makers at mid to large size brands, such as Hershey, Miller Brewing, Alienware, Toll Brothers and other similar companies we have provided services to.
- Initiate 25 outbound introductory calls or emails to new potential accounts per business day.
- Perform introductory calls with the purpose of collecting relevant information about the prospect and their potential needs related to mobile services with an objective to schedule a discovery call.
- Work with Solutions Development and Solutions Engineering teams to conduct pre-discovery research with an objective to pre-design and offer up initial solution ideas on discovery call.
- Perform discovery calls to gather full information about the mobile needs of your prospect and present OTAir capabilities that are tailored to the identified needs and unidentified opportunities of the prospect.
- Develop appropriate pricing strategy and ranges for solutions packages/options.
- Move prospects toward commitment and close sales that exceed client's expectations.
- Work with Client-Partner Loyalty team to nurture and maintain existing accounts with the objectives of tracking campaign progress, discovering client/market/audience changes, and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate persistence, overcome obstacles, and strive to improve skills for the achievement of personal, team and company goals.
- Share knowledge, ideas, pricing strategies, successes, failures and other experiences with fellow team members that contribute to the overall success of the team and the company.
- Align all sales performance with OTAir mission, vision, and values.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven B2B sales experience outside of local markets
- Innovative problem solver who patiently listens for and assesses needs, consults with team members on previous solution success and failures, and works independently to close sales
- Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales quota and devising strategies and tactics for when sales are less than desirable
- Outstanding relationship building experience and communication skills
- Exceptionally strong organization and time management skills
- Comfortable with use of hi-tech hardware, software and processes for organization, time management, team collaboration and thorough record keeping
- A positive can-do attitude and self-starter
- Willingness and ability to occasionally travel by automobile or airplane to client presentations and industry trade shows; likely no more than ten trips or 27-33 travel days annually
- Highly professional demeanor with engaging personality
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Compensation and Benefits
OTAir is a young, growing company that is rapidly implementing competitive compensation and benefits packages that include medical, dental, life, short and long-term disability insurance, 401k plan, paid parking, holidays, and paid time off (starting with 15 days). Starting Solutions Design Sales Reps receive a very generous commission-heavy compensation plan with options to convert portions into steady base pay, draw pay, and/or equity options based on performance and tenure. Being a small company allows for lots of room for individual and team specialization. OTAir plans to establish Specialty Solutions Teams that focus on a particular mobile technology or vertical market for competitive advantage; experienced company team members will be sought to lead such teams and will receive very attractive compensation plans.
